I love water.

I do.

I love the sound of it, the sound of waterfalls especially. When all you can hear is the rumbling water, and you can’t help starting to think about what it must feel like to be the water, to travel down the river, high speed, no thoughts, just travel, with no idea where to.

I love the feeling of it, on a hot summer day, the cold and wet against the warm and wet, a different kind of wet, sweaty.

I love the taste. The look.

So it is a good thing that Dublin has Liffey, the river that devides the city in two, in north and south. I like to walk by it, just to see, feel, hear.

(Every week I will show you a picture of different sides of the place I live, good or bad. Through my eyes, of course.)

Hmmm. I love water as well. I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I thought you said the river was full of rubbish and bottles?

Well, yeah, it is. But if you don’t look to closely, it is a nice river!
